This scribe was present at the ordination of Bro. T. P. Crawford and wife as missionaries to China, at Denmark Baptist Church, in March, 1851. They have recently observed the fortieth anniversary of their arrival in China, as shown below:

"The 20th of March was the fortieth anniversary of the arrival and work of Rev. and Mrs. T. P. Crawford in China. The missionaries united with them in celebrating the day, on the occasion of which the 103rd Psalm was read and the grand old time song, 'How Firm a Foundation,' was sung. Mr. and Mrs. Crawford were presented with a handsome copy of the Cyclopedia of Missions."
