Roy D Mitchell
Kentucky Baptist Pastor

      Roy Mitchell was born February 25, 1928. He taught school and became a school Principal in eastern Kentucky. He pastored the East Corbin Baptist Church for many years. He took many young people to camp each year and his church paid their way. He also preached at various Bible conferences and as an evangelist in church revival meetings. His brother, Bill Mitchell, was the long-time pastor of the Briar Creek Baptist Church, Corbin, Kentucky. Roy died at the age of 85 on February 28, 2013.
