Training Course in Covington Calvary Baptist Church

WE HAVE just completed a five day Teachers' Training Course with our Bible School Teachers and those who are interested in becoming teachers. There was a total of sixty-four who took the three courses which were taught.

Rev. C. B. Coots, Pastor, Elsemere, Baptist Church, Erlanger, Ky., taught the book, "Teaching Adults in the Sunday School." Mrs. Coots, his wife, led the study, "Guiding the Primary Child" in a most interesting manner; and Mrs. Ferguson, wife of Dr. George R. Ferguson, Pastor, First Baptist Church, Covington, so aptly taught, "Guiding Junior Boys and Girls." We were fortunate in having these three co-laborers here in Northern Kentucky with us, who not only taught these study courses in such a fine way, but whose personalities and fellowship were a real blessing to us.

Each evening after the study period, Rev. Fred Meldau, from Denver, Colorado, presented moving pictures which he made on his recent tour of Palestine, Rome and Egypt. Mr. Meldau was in Europe at the time Poland was invaded, and also showed some of the preparations being made by England against invasion as he passed through on his way home. These pictures are the finest we have ever seen of the Holy Land, and surely made the Bible more real to us.

The week was crowded with good things of the Lord, and we feel that the knowledge and blessing which we received will be of great benefit to us as we serve Him in the future.

Covington, Ky.
D. B. EASTEP, Pastor
