Revival at Calvary Baptist Church
Covington, Kentucky
Western Recorder, 1931
I have just closed a meeting with the Calvary Baptist Church, Covington, Ky., Brother D.B. Eastep is the pastor. The meeting was one of the most spiritual I have ever been in - much prayer and an abiding interest in the preaching of the Word.

Five years ago when Brother Eastep accepted the call to the church it was known as "the Race Horse" church because of the worldliness and stand of certain members. Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit that is all changed. The battle was fought but out of it has born a purified church, united and contending in God's way for the program of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Brother Eastep is loved and honored by his people, and it is his hope to spend his life with the Calvary Church. One of the marks of the revival was the conversion of a number of church members. Another mark was the splendid attendance at the day services.

Calvary Church will be counted among the great churches in Northern Kentucky in the days to come.
