New Northern Kentucky Baptist Church
[Bellevue]
The Baptist Argus, 1904
The pastors in towns in Kentucky, near Cincinnati, C. W. Daniel, G. W. Hill, B. F. Swindler, W. B Hall, C. M. Thompson and J. S. Sowers, of Norwood, Ohio, aided in organizing a new church at Bellevue, Ky., a town of 8,000 people located between Dayton and Newport. W. B. Hall writes: "Brother T. H. Johnson was elected pastor. The prospects are bright indeed for a good church." G. W. Hill, clerk of the presbytery, writes: "The organization was effected in . . . April 12, 7:45 p. m. Thirty-four presented themselves for membership. Pastor Johnson, who has labored so efficiently to bring about this organization has found over 100 Baptists living in Belleview [Bellevue]. The new church has a bright future."
