A List of Baptist Missionaries in China

      My father is a Baptist preacher. I will try to answer the questions about China missionaries. Canton is on the Southeastern Coast of China. There are 800,000 people in Canton. The missionaries at Canton are Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Graves, Mr. and Mrs. E. Z. Simmons, Miss Lula Whilden, Thomas and Mrs. McCloy, Miss Nellie Hartwell, Miss F. B. North, Miss Mollie McMinn, besides twenty-one native assistants. Shanghai is in Eastern China. It has 160,000 inhabitants. The missionaries there are Mrs. Yates, D. W. Herring, Mrs. Herring, E. F. Tatum, and Mrs. Tatum. Tung Chow, Whang Hien and Pingtu are in Northern China. The missionaries at Tung Chow are: T. P. Crawford, Mrs. Crawford, G. P. Bostick, Miss Laura G. Barton, Miss M. J. Thornton. W. D. King, and W. H. Sears. The missionaries at Whang Hien are: C. W. Pruitt, Mrs. Pruitt, T. J. Lagne and Mrs. Lagne. The missionaries at Pingtu are: Miss Lottie Moon and Miss Fannie S. Knight.
