Medford L. Caudill
Baptist Pastor

      Medford L. Caudill was born in 1949 in Concord, Michigan to Medford H. and Frances G. (Iler) Caudill. He died on December 15, 2012 at the age of 63. He had been in ill health for four years with Parkinson's disease.

      In 1975 he married Myrtis D. Sevy. They had sons, Brandon, Mishawaka, and Nathanael; daughters, Angela Caudill and Bethany McDaniel,

      He preached the Gospel for 40 years, pastoring churches in Michigan, Indiana, Mississippi, and Saipan. He pastored the New Testament Baptist Church in Goshen, Indiana for 29 years until 2010, when he had to retire due to failing health. He remained a faithful church member and served the Lord by sharing his faith with those he came in contact with. He also owned and operated two used bookstores. Burial was in Southwest Cemetery in Goshen.

      Among the essays he wrote: “The Bible, A True Book”, “The Horrors of Hell” and “Election: A Practical Doctrine”. He also wrote the Introduction to the 1986 Edition of The Church in the Wilderness or, The Baptists Before the Reformation by W. W. Everts.
