Rev. John Quincy Adams
Baptist Minister and Author
      Rev. John Quincy Adams was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, February 25, 1825; was liberally educated; ordained pastor of Bloomfield church, New Jersey, January 31, 1849. He has had charge of the Keyport church, New Jersey, and of the North, Antioch, and Cannon Street churches in New York City. He has published a number of religious works. Eleven years ago he had baptized 540 persons, nine of whom became ordained ministers. Mr. Adams is full of zeal for the salvation of the perishing, and for the triumph of what he regards as the truth of God.

     John Quincy Adams wrote a book titled Baptists, the Only Thorough Religious Reformers originally published in New York by U. D. Ward and by Sheldon & Company in 1876. The paperback book reprint of 179 pages was published by Backus Book Publishers, P.O. Box 17274, Rochester, NY 14617, in 1980 and 1982.
