John Howard Shakespeare
British Baptist Minister and AuthorReverend John Howard Shakespeare, M.A., of London, will conduct the service in Appleton Chapel tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. He will also conduct morning prayers during the coming week.
Mr. Shakespeare belongs, through a parallel branch, to the family from which the bard of Avon came. He is secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and Ireland, editor of The Baptist Times and Freeman, an organizer and preacher of power. His activities are not confined to Great Britain, but extend to this country and to the continent of Europe, especially to Russia and the Balkan States. One of his great interests in the formation in Great Britain of a United Free Church, including the non-sacerdotal and involving such co-operation as shall do away with competition and waste.
