1833 - The Association was constituted.

1834 - "What is Love?" - Elder John W. Lewis - Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Greenville.

1835 - "The General Judgment" - J. G. Landrum - Bethlehem BC, Spartanburgh.

1836 - "The Evidence of Religion in the Soul" - E. Rogers - Unity BC, Spartanburgh.

1837 - "Temperance" was the subject assigned to R. Woodruff - p. 3 of the Minutes says: "The committee on the Circulars reported, that, in consequence of the extreme length of the article prepared, it be not received, and recommended that the corresponding letter published in the Minutes of the Edgefield Association be adopted as our Circular in lieu thereof, whch was agreed to." The Edgefield Association document was a review of the Baptist mission movements for the past fifty years and how they are "to prepare the way for the millennium."

1838 - "The Duty of the Churches in Relation to Spiritual Gifts" - Elder S. Gibson.

1839 - "Humility" - Elder A. M. Spalding.

1840 - "Communion" - J. G. Landrum.

1841 - "What is the True Spiritual Meaning of Usury?" - A. M. Spalding.

1842 - "On the Office and the Duties of the Deacon in the New Testament Church" - J. G. Landrum.

1843 - "Prayer" - H. J. Dean.

1844 - "Spiritual Growth and Usefulness in the Church of Christ" - J. M. Roberts - These Minutes also include short histories of the Association churches on pages 8-14.

1845 - The Duties of Pastors and Churches - J. G. Landrum - pp. 5-9.

1846 - The Perfections of God - T. W. Haynes - pp. 5-7.

1847 - "The Importance of Sabbath [Sunday] Schools" - pp. 6-10.

1848 - The Importance of our Adopting Measures to Distribute Religious Books among the Churches and People of our Association - J. M. C. Breaker.

1849 - "The Duties of Churches to their Pastors" - C. J. Elford.

1850 - "Duties of Pastors and Masters" - H. J. Dean.

1851 - "The Tests of Piety" - G. F. Townes - pp. 7-13.

1852 - "The Organization of our Churches is not Complete" - Elder P. C. Edwards - He refers to the need for pastors in the churches - pp. 11-18.

1853 - "The Practical Duties of the Disciples of Christ" - G. F. Townes.

1854 - C. J. Elford was chosen to write the Circular. He said his subject was: "Why Churches Should Support Ministerial Students at Fruman University," but he was unable to complete it. He wrote an apology and gave his reasons for not completing the assignment.

1855 - H. J. Dean was appointed to write the Circular, but he died as is recorded on p. 10 of the Minutes. These records originally belonged to Basil Manly, Jr., and in pencil is written: "This letter was probably written by R. Furman." The title of the CL published is: "The Importance of an Elevated Standard of Piety."

1856 - "The Importance of an Unwavering Trust in the Providence of God." - C. H. Judson

1857 - "Practical or Working Christianity" - O. E. Edwards - pp. 13-18.

1858 - "The Connection Between Baptism and the Lord's Supper" - J. C. Turman.

1859 - "Christian Liberality" - C. H. Judson.

1860 - "The Edification of the Churches of Christ, and some of the Means Appropriate to its Accomplishment" - James P. Boyce.

1861 - J. G. Landrum was assigned - No Circular Letter in the Minutes - probably because of the Civil War.

1862 - "Christian Duty in the Time of War" - Basil Manly, Jr. - pp. 15-20.

1863 - "Resolved to dispense with a Circular Letter at the present meeting of the Association, inasmuch as the writer appointed at the last meeting of this Body having left the Association before preparing said document." (p. 6) The writer is not named.

1864 and 1865 - No Letter.

1866 J. G. Landrum wrote: "We have been operating in associate capacity for thirty-three years, and now think it proper, and trust it will be profitable, to write and preserve a history of our labors, of the men most prominent in the field who have gone to their reward, and of the churches composing this body."

1867 - "The Importance of Diligence in our Christian Duties" - Rev. P. Hawkins - pp. 20-21.

1868 - "The Importance of Systematic Beneficience" - Rev. James C. Furman - pp. 21-23.

1869 - "Lack of Ministerial Support" - Rev. R. Furman Whilden.

1870 - Two Duties we would Earnestly Commend to our Notice:
First, The exercise of stricter discipline - The other duty is, care in receiving members - by W. B. Carson.
This CL was commended by the Circular Letter Committee.

1871 - "The Object of a Christian Church" - Basil Manly, Jr. - pp. 18-19.

1872 - No Circular Letter - There are two essays in the Minutes:
The Importance of Religious Services in our Churches Every Sabbath - by Bro. J. L. Vass - pp. 5-7.
"The Benefits and Evils of Protracted Meetings" - by Bro. J. G. Landrum - pp. 7-9.

1873 and 1874 - Minutes missing.

1875 - Essay: "The Influence of Sunday Schools upon the Morals of a Community" - by J. B. O. Landrum.
