      It is difficult to determine the exact number of slave members. The dates are sometimes listed and sometimes not. There are different clerks recording the church's records and they do not all follow the same pattern. Periodically the clerk would write that additioinal information was in the back of the Churchbook, as he was short of paper. The year 1818 was a period of revival throughout northern Kentucky, so it appears all of the dates are not correct. Michael Capek and his wife, Terri, transcribed these difficult documents.
