FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
Burlington, Kentucky
Rev. J. B. Porterfield, Pastor

The First Baptist Church of Burlington, Kentucky was organized in 1881 by the Rev. Randolph Campbell, an old veteran of the cross. Since the church was organized, a number of leading pastors have filled the pulpit - doing their part in the Kingdom building. Rev. J. B. Porterfield, one of Kentucky's sons, accepted our call in October, 1942. Since coming to us, a number of souls have been added to the church, and much efficient work has been, and is being done. Great things are planned for the future, which we feel that we shall accomplish by the leadership of Rev. Porterfield, who is led by the Spirit of God.
          W. E. STRADER, Church Clerk.
