The hearts of all the Baptists were made sad to learn of the death of this truly great man. When some discreet brother shall write his biography, we shall know how truly great was the man who has given us the best theological seminary in the world. His true yoke-fellow, Dr. John A. Broadus, is the man to write this important life, and all the students will look eagerly for its appearance. May He who guided Dr. Boyce so wisely, select the Joshua for this house also.
